I find There is something liberating about when one lets go of the need to try to control everything. my mom used to say: ‘I’ll do my best; you do the rest’. My mom used to use that quote when talking about a great way to connect with spirit on a daily level. Although is important to put effort forth in anything you do, sometimes it is also important to recognize when something isn’t working. Does this mean you should give up? Not necessarily, but perhaps it is wise to look at the overall picture and she if anything needs to be done differently.
The main thing is not to be harder on yourself than you need to be. Just let it go. Do what you can and then let Spirit do the rest.
Perhaps this sounds a little ‘Airy Fairy’. But believe me, by giving things to a higher source you are open and receptive and the answers come. Maybe through something you read, maybe in meditation, perhaps in conversation with a friend. The point is that letting go is sometimes the most freeing thing you can do. To quote Kenny Rogers: (The Gambler). You’ve got to know when to hold ’em. Know when to fold ’em. Know when to walk away. This allows you to create the space to allow the answer to come. In whatever way they need to.
