All you can sometimes do is hang on.
When things are uncertain, sometimes all you can do is hold your head above water…and go with the flow. There is a hexagram in the I Ching (or Oracle of changes) called ‘Responding to Challenges. It is Number 29. It emphasizes going with the flow, adapting to new circumstances. Cautions against reacting without thinking. Clinging to approaches that have outlived their usefulness.
The image is one which is meant to teach us how to conduct ourselves in trying situations. In other words, when unsure how to act, allow yourself to be directed and guided. The reset will occur naturally. I like to sum it up as follows: When in Doubt do Nothing. Allow yourself to be guided and directed. The rest will fall into place.
