Any habit which is continued for three weeks consistently has the potential to become a regular practice. The routine needn’t be huge, just ongoing. One positive practice might be to cultivate gratitude. ‘Gratitude’ can be defined as ‘thankfulness’. The object of this appreciation can be minimal. It is just a matter of focusing on something uplifting. Doing this creates a mindset and energy pattern which allows one’s attention to be focused and directed on positive things. Oprah says that listing three things daily that one is grateful for, encourages the individual to see things in a brighter light. It is a way of thanking Spirit for what one has, and saying ‘more of this please’.
